T h is y e a r i t w as decided th a t th e U N W L A had ex ten d ed it s e lf con sid erab ly in th is cam paign and th a t in stea d o f co n tin u in g w ith ind ividu al U N W L A B ran ch sp on sorsh ip o f B razilian sch olarsh ip s, th e w id er U k rain ian C om m unity would be g iv e n an o p p ortu n ity t o p a r tic i p ate. S o fa r , 14 stu d en ts are r e c e iv in g sch olarsh ip fu n d s from U k rain ian sp on sors o u tsid e o f th e U N W L A B ran ch es. In ad d i tio n to th e 26 stu d en ts w h o are b ein g aided fo r th e d uration o f th e ir stu d ie s, o th e r s h a v e been g iv e n lum p su m g ra n ts.
