Y., has found a m ost rew ard in g avocation as a free-lance py san k a d em on stra tor. F o r th e p ast tw o years she has conducted a w orkship a t th e Roberson C enter fo r A rts and Sciences in B ingham ton, N. Y., w ith en tire fam ilies attending. M rs. Bochonko has already been invited fo r th e 1969 spring se s sion and provisions are being m ade to accom m odate th e ever- increasing num ber of pysanka devotees. All th e m em bers of h er fam ily help M rs.. Bochonko in h e r w ork shops — h er tw o daug hters, K ath erin e Ann, 11, and P aula Ann, 7, as well as h e r husband, H arold, especially w hen he drives th e fam ily to B ingham ton and other d istan t places. M rs. Bochonko also dem on s tra te s py sanka p ain tin g in banks and before Girl Scout and church groups. A recen t innova tion by one of th e churches was a contest fo r th e b est pysankas fo r a sw iatchene, w ith w inners se lected in d ifferen t categories. M rs. Bochonko, a m em ber of B ranch 72 of New Y ork, is th e d au g h ter of M rs. K atherin e Ba- ran of Br. 21 of Brooklyn, N. Y. Please fill them out and re tu rn directly to th e hotel. N ot m uch tim e rem ains before th e XV U N W LA Convention opens in Chicago on July 5-7, 1968. It is im p o rtan t th a t you re p o rt to th e Convention Com m ittee th e nam e of your B ranch delegate. If your B ranch has a “scrap book” or photo album , we urge you to send it in before Jun e 15 to th e Convention C om m ittee in Chicago. The scrap-books and album s will be exhibited during th e Convention and a panel of judges will select th e b est fo r recognition. The Convention Book aw aits g reeting s and ads from your B ranch.
