UNWLA Participation in NCW Activities D u rin g th e p a s t m o n th s, th e U N W L A h a s ta k e n p a r t in sev e ra l e v en ts sp onsored b y th e N a tio n a l Council of W om en of th e U.S., o f w hich th e U N W L A is a m em b er o rg an izatio n . O f p a ra m o u n t in te re s t w as th e N C W an n u a l m e e tin g held in N ew Y o rk in th e fall, w ith d is cu ssio n s on w om en-at-w ork, civil rig h ts , an d c o n tin u in g ed u catio n fo r w om en. T h e 3-day m e e tin g w as opened on O ct. 12 by M rs. M ildred R obbins, N CW p re sid e n t, w ho rem in d ed h e r lis te n e rs th a t o u r pro b lem s to d ay a re sim ila r to th o se w hich ex iste d in 1888 w h en th e N C W w as founded. M rs.
