The event was held at the Ukrainian Institute of America, 2 East 79th St., New York City, on Nov. 14, 1965. Seated in the first row from the left are: Mrj. Mary Lesawyer, chairman of the Musicale, Miss Martha Cybyk, pianist, Madame Galli-Campi, accompanist to Miss Marusevych, Miss Denise Marusevych, soprano, Miss Eugenia Volz, accompanist to Mr. Wos’iakiwsky, Mr. George Woshakiwsky, violinist and Mrs. Stella Dzus. co-chairman of the event. Standing in the second row, center, above Miss Marusevych is Mrs. Mae Demey, President of Branch 72. The Musicale is an annual event devoted to the presentation of highly talented youthful artists.
