However, now that my malady is well advanced and deeply established (and there is no doubt that it is an especial one producing for me pleasure and contentment, knowledge and decorative articles), I can appre ciate that each subsequent and consequent symptom which has been manifested by a new stitch learned, a new design discovered, and another original article com pleted served to renew that ori ginal ‘bite” and prolong its plea sant after effects. I urge you, therefore, most strongly, dear Editor, to expose your readers to this same satis fying malady. They will enjoy it and you will be delighted with the good you have done. To help you with your pleasant task I will send to you in time for next month’s issue, the very “germ” of Ukrainian embroider ies : illustrations, instructions, and ideas how to use the oldest stitch in Ukrame, the weaving one.
