This Wednesday, we stand together as a sisterhood reflecting on the 31st anniversary of renewed Ukrainian independence. Celebrating August 24th, we can’t help but notice another significant date. August 24th marks exactly six months since russia launched its brutal war against Ukraine. Over six months of immeasurable resistance of brave Ukrainian defenders and civilians. Six months of our mobilization and support to help Ukraine as much as possible.
Recognizing the 31st anniversary of Ukrainian Independence is more important this year than ever. As a community of the largest organization of Ukrainian women in the US, we sincerely thank all our supporters, advocates, and donors. Please continue to keep Ukraine in your thoughts – the people of Ukraine is resisting bravely and values freedom above everything else.
