In Ukraine, 75 elderly women and those confined to their homes (many from families exiled to Siberia and elsewhere) each received a Christmas card signed by the UNWLA President as well as a monetary gift of 500 ₴ (hryvni) as part of our Christmas/Easter “Fund Babusi” campaign.
UNWLA representatives in Ukraine mailed and/or delivered these gifts. The cities targeted this Christmas were Novoyavorivs’k, Zhovkva, Krekhiv, Sambir & Turka.
