UNWLA Branch 98 of Matawan is sponsoring a lecture and demonstration of Ukrainian Wood Carving by artist Yurij Kostiv on March 14, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Monmouth County Library in Shrewsbury, NJ.

Mr. Kostiv will share his artistic heritage and passion for his expressive art in a slide presentation showing his Iconostases, Bas-relief sculptures, carvings, tools, and carving techniques.  He will also demonstrate wood carving and display his tools and works of art.  Works of art will also be available for purchase.

Light refreshments will be served.

The exhibit will be on display for the month of March.
