Event Description: Ukrainian Music Competition Finalists Gala

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the rich heritage of Ukrainian music at the second annual Ukrainian Music Competition Finalists Gala, hosted by UNWLA and the Young Performers Foundation.

Date: January 10th, 2025
Location: Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, 154 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019

The Ukrainian Music Competition inspires young performers to master compositions by Ukrainian composers while promoting awareness of Ukrainian culture. This year’s Gala builds on the success of last year’s captivating event, which featured extraordinary performances by winners and judges and welcomed distinguished guests, including diplomats like Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine’s permanent representative to the UN.

This year’s auditions attracted talented young musicians from the US, Canada, and Poland, including six Ukrainian refugees sponsored by the Young Performers Foundation and UNWLA. At the Gala, these exceptional finalists will perform live, joined by invited university and government officials, in a powerful celebration of culture and artistry.

Guests will enjoy an evening of stunning performances, refreshments, and hors d’oeuvres, with all proceeds supporting ongoing advocacy for Ukrainian culture.
