As November is Holodomor Remembrance Month – the tragic man-made famine in Ukraine in 1932-33  –  please join us at the first community Holodomor Remembrance event, sponsored by Irondequoit Public Library in coordination with UNWLA Br. 120. The event will feature Michael Cherkas speaking about and presenting his newest book “Red Harvest”.

Red Harvest author Michael Cherkas was born in Oshawa, Ontario in 1954 from Ukrainian roots. He has worked for over 30 years as a graphic designer, art director, cartoonist and illustrator. More information on this and his many other books is available at:
